§ 3.04. Acting city manager.

If the office of the city manager should become vacant for any cause, or the city manager should become disabled or incapacitated permanently or temporarily so that the duties of his office should be vested in another, for the time being, the city council may designate some proper person to discharge the duties of his office until the vacancy can be filled, or until the return of the city manager to his duties of the office; and in the case of vacancy, may fill the vacancy at any time.
