§ 4.01. Fiscal year.

The fiscal year of the city government shall begin on the first day of July of each year and shall end on the thirtieth day of June next following. Said fiscal year shall constitute the budget year and the year for the financial accounting and reporting of each and every office, department, or institution, agency and activity of the government, unless otherwise provided by state or federal law.
