§ 4.16. Transfer of executions.

The city clerk of the City of Cartersville shall be authorized to transfer and assign any fi. fa. or execution issued for street, sewer, or any other assessment in the same manner upon the same terms, and to the same effect and thereby vest the purchaser or transferee, with the same rights as in the case of sales or transfers of tax fi. fas. as now provided by law; and as to all sales of property hereafter made under execution in behalf of the city for the collection of street, sewer, and other assessments, the owner or owners, as the case may be, are authorized to redeem the same within the same time and in compliance with the same terms and payment of the same premium, interest and costs, as in the cases of redemption of property where sold under tax fi. fa., as the same now exists, or as it may from time to time be provided by law.
