§ 5.01. Public school systems preserved.

The public school system of the City of Cartersville and of its governing authority, and all rights, powers, and authority of the city with respect thereto are preserved, as amended, revised and consolidated as contained in the following sections. The city council is hereby empowered to continue and maintain the system of public schools for the City of Cartersville, as established by law.
