§ 6.05. Vacancy in office.

In the absence, sickness or disqualification of the judge of the municipal court or vacancy in such office, a judge of the municipal court pro tempore may be appointed by the mayor and council, and in the performance of said office shall be clothed with the same powers and authority as are granted to the judge of the municipal court under this charter and the laws of the State of Georgia. The council is empowered to provide for the compensation of any such person appointed to preside over said court as herein provided.
