§ 7.01. Regular elections, time for holding and taking office.

The regular election for mayor, councilmen, and Cartersville School Board members shall be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November, 1989, and on said date biennially thereafter. Officials elected at any regular election shall take office on the first day of January subsequent to their election.
