§ 10-114. Compliance with other ordinances and laws.

(a)

All businesses are required to comply with the provisions of all ordinances of the city and other laws and the issuance of a business tax receipt to any business pursuant to this article shall not authorize that business to engage in or carry on business or to perform any other activity in violation of state or federal law or regulations

and other ordinances of the city, nor shall it relieve that business from obtaining any license or permit required by the provision of other laws or ordinances.

(b)

No license shall be issued or renewed until outstanding property taxes and other debts to the city have been paid.
