§ 10-512. Pain clinics occupational tax certificate required.

Regardless of business name, if a proposed establishment seeks to operate or holds itself out to be devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with acute and chronic pain, the City of Cartersville considers said establishment to be a "pain clinic" and a pain clinics occupational tax certificate from the City of Cartersville is required. The city manager, police chief, or planning and development director, shall be authorized to classify a proposed establishment as a pain clinic, if so determined.
