The public works director when directed by the council is hereby authorized to determine
those intersections at which drivers of vehicles shall not make right turns, left
turns, or U-turns, and shall place proper signs at such intersections. The making
of such turns may be prohibited between certain hours of any day and permitted at
other hours, in which event the hours shall be plainly indicated on the signs or the
signs may be removed when such turns are permitted.
(b)
The public works director shall place turn restriction signs at the places and showing
the restrictions specified in section 12-1004, which restrictions shall then be effective at such places.
