§ 12-65. Liquid gas trucks.

  • (a)

    The overnight parking in residential areas of trucks loaded with liquid petroleum gas, liquid propane or liquid butane is hereby determined to be dangerous to the health, welfare, and safety of the citizens of the city.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful to park a motor vehicle loaded with as much as one hundred (100) gallons of liquid petroleum gas, liquid propane or liquid butane to remain parked for more than three (3) consecutive hours in any place in the city other than the dealer's principal place of doing business. Should it be necessary to park any such vehicle at any other location for a period of time longer than permitted, the contents of the truck shall be drained.
