§ 21-31. Collection schedules.

(a)

The public works director shall be authorized to establish schedules for the collection of garbage and trash within the corporate limits.

(b)

The public works department shall collect and remove all garbage in the residential sections of the city once each week, except in weeks when holidays occur and during emergencies. Collection shall be made at least once per week or as otherwise determined by the public works director from the business section of the city and in either of the sections as often as required by the department.
