Article III. COMMERCIAL GARBAGE COLLECTION |
§ 21-56. Notification of change.
Each permit holder is required to notify the city in writing of any changes in its permit or application within thirty (30) days of said event. If said change endangers the public's health, safety, and welfare or creates a non-compliance with the requirements herein, a new permit will be required and the existing permit will terminate within thirty (30) days of the date of the change, and if said container is not removed from said location the city shall have the right to impound said container. All fees and costs will be the responsibility of the container owner.

For any containers located within the City of Cartersville by a commercial/private garbage hauler after issuance of his permit, the commercial/private garbage hauler must submit an amendment to their permit containing the following information to the city within ten (10) days of locating said container within the city:
a.
Location of container.
b.
Owner of container.
c.
Number of pick-ups per container.
d.
Size of container.

Upon receipt of the amendment to permit, the city shall inspect said location for compliance with all applicable ordinances of the city within ten (10) days of receipt.

The city shall then issue an updated permit to the applicant or in writing inform them of any violations by said container of City Ordinances and require correction within thirty (30) days from said notice. If said violations are not corrected and approved by the city then said container shall be removed or the city may remove said container and assess costs if any to the container owner.
