§ 23-20. Water supply.

(a)

Where a public water supply is within a reasonable distance, the subdivider shall install or have installed a system of water mains, including fire hydrants, and connections to each lot. All water mains and lot connections shall be installed prior to paving of the streets.

(b)

Where a public water supply is not available, each lot in a subdivision shall be furnished with a water supply system approved by the health department.
