§ 24-3. Gas department service calls.

The city gas department shall not make service calls to inspect appliances or furnaces, shall not light pilot lights or perform any service from the gas meter into a home or business establishment, other than new service, the responsibility of the gas department not extending beyond the gas meter or city lines. However, the gas superintendent may deem it necessary to relight pilot lights after interruption of service.
