§ 25-23. Removal from service for violations.

(a)

Upon discovery of a violation of any provision or provisions in this article relating to animal-drawn vehicles for hire, the inspector may issue an order to the person responsible for the violation requiring the removal of the subject animal from service.

(b)

No animal which has been removed from service for violation of this section shall be returned to service until the animal has been inspected by the city inspector and approved for return to service in writing.

(c)

Any person who refuses to comply with the order of the city or who complies with the order and returns the subject animal to service before being inspected and approved by the inspector of the city, shall be guilty of the offense of refusing to obey an order of the city inspector.
