§ 2-1. Corporate seal.
(a)
The corporate seal shall be a circular device with the inscription, "City of Cartersville, Georgia" around the edge of the circle, and with the words "Incorporated February 1, 1850" in the inner part of the circle.
(b)
The city clerk shall be the official custodian of the corporate seal, and shall keep it in a safe place, free from molestation.
(c)
The city clerk shall attest and affix the corporate seal to all orders of the council, all deeds, contracts, bonds, leases, notes, certificates of record, and such other instruments as the council may direct.
