§ 2-21. Disclosure in zoning matters.

  • It shall be the duty of the mayor and each of the councilmen to disclose publicly at any meeting at which the same shall be considered any interest which any member of the council may have with respect to any real estate located in any area which is the subject of any proposed change in the zoning ordinances of the city. Whether such ownership interest shall disqualify such mayor or councilman from participating in the vote thereon shall be determined as provided by the laws of the state.
