§ 2-55. Ethics committee.

The ethics committee shall consist of three (3) persons, one (1) appointed by the Mayor, and one (1) appointed by the council, and the third appointed by the two (2) above named subject to approval of a majority of the city council. One (1) member of the ethics committee shall be a member in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia. All members shall be residents of the City of Cartersville and shall serve a two-year term.
