§ 6-3. Inspections of change in business.

  • (a)

    All individuals, corporations, businesses or commercial establishment which desire to transfer and/or locate at a previously licensed location under the occupational tax ordinance of the city prior to occupancy of said premises and prior to the transfer or establishment of utility services by the city are required to submit an inspection form as provided by the city to the department of planning and development for fire and building code inspectors to inspect the premises for compliance with all federal, state and local ordinances, rules, regulations, codes and laws.

    (b)

    The city shall conduct and complete the inspections within two (2) business days of receipt.

    (c)

    No individual, corporation, business, or commercial entities shall be issued an occupational license, certificate of occupancy and/or any license or permit by the city until said inspections have been completed and any violations discovered corrected by the applicant.

    (d)

    Any individual, corporation, business or commercial entities shall be issued temporary utility service upon approval by the building and/or fire official.
