§ 9-26. Violations; penalty.

Whenever an inspection discloses any violations to the fire rules and regulations, the fire chief or inspecting officer designated by him shall order the violations remedied; such order shall forthwith be complied with by the owner or occupant of the premises or building inspected. Any owner or occupant who shall continue violating the fire rules and regulations for five (5) days after being so ordered shall be guilty of an offense.
