§ 3.07. Bond.

The city manager, before entering upon the discharge of his duties shall execute a bond with solvent sureties doing business in Bartow County in an amount to be approved by the council but not less than one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) payable to the City of Cartersville, conditioned for the faithful performance of his duties and to secure against corruption, malfeasance, misappropriations, or unlawful expenditures. The premium on said surety bond shall be paid for by the city.
