§ 12-38. Specifications; official status.

All traffic-control signs, signals and devices shall conform generally to specifications set out in the manual on Uniform Traffic-Control Devices adopted by the state highway board; however, all signs and signals placed pursuant to this article or other ordinance shall be official and shall so far as practicable be uniform as to type and location throughout the city. All traffic-control devices so erected shall be official traffic-control devices.
