§ 12-1006. Two-hour parking.

(a)

Parking is limited to two (2) hours except as designated herein at the following locations:

Church Street, from Railroad Street to Gilmer Street.

Erwin Street, from Church Street to Main Street, shall be two-hour parking.

Gilmer Street, from Main Street to Cherokee Avenue, shall be two-hour parking.

Main Street, from Gilmer Street to Bartow Street, shall be two-hour parking, except that all property marked and signed handicapped parking spaces shall be exempt from this time limit, and that the three (3) spaces in front of 141 and 139 West Main Street and the two (2) spaces located in front of 144 West Main Street shall be fifteen-minute parking.

Public Square, west side, from Church Street to Main Street, and Public Square, east side, from Cherokee Avenue to Main Street.

Wall Street, from Church Street to Main Street.

(b)

No parking as allowed adjacent to any yellow-curbed area within the City of Cartersville city limits. Violators shall be subject to a fine of ten dollars ($10.00) per violation per thirty (30) minutes.
