§ 17-54. Designation of streets.

  • All lots or parts of lots, houses and structures located on those portions of any street extending north and south and being north of the Main Street baseline shall be known and designated as "north," and all south of the Main Street baseline shall be known and designated as "south," all located on all those portions of any street extending east and west and being east of the W. & A. Railroad baseline shall be known and designated as "east," and all west of the W. & A. Railroad baseline shall be known and designated as "west." The prefixes shall be placed before the proper name of the streets, as "West Main Street" or "North Bartow Street."
