§ 22-63. Effect of erroneous assessment against exempt property.
Latest version.
If any assessment is made for an improvement against any real estate of any owner not legally subject to such assessment, the fact that such erroneous assessment is made shall not affect the validity of the assessment made against the real estate of any other owner or owners, but as to such legally exempt real estate, the city shall be treated as the owner for the purposes of the assessment and shall pay for the improvements of such area.
