§ 22-64. Effect of error in description of property or designation of owner; manner of designation in bonds.

  • (a)

    In cases where any street, sidewalk, alley, avenue or lane is paved or improved, errors or inaccuracies of description of any property against which the appropriate charge or assessment is made or inaccurate or erroneous designation of the owner or owners, or other irregularities shall not affect the validity of the charge or assessment or of any bonds issued thereon.

    (b)

    Where any of such adjoining or abutting properties is held by more than one (1) person in common ownership or in varying or different quantities, it shall be a sufficient designation of the owners in any bond issued on the assessment to name one (1) of the common or various owners, followed by the words "et al" and by designating the tract so owned by the number by which it is designated in the assessment.
