§ 22-80. Inspections.

  • (a)

    Authorized representatives of the city shall have access to the work for inspection at any time. When an inspection for approval of the work is needed, the developer or his representative shall notify the chief inspector twenty-four (24) hours prior to the desired day of inspection.

    (b)

    A final field inspection of all improvements shall be held before conditional acceptance of the work and before the start of the one-year warranty period.

    (c)

    When construction has been completed, the developer or his representative shall meet with an authorized representative from the public works department at the job site.

    (d)

    Permits shall be examined at this time to ensure that the work has been accepted, and the construction plans shall be checked against what has been constructed to ensure that the work is completed.

    (e)

    When all phases of work have been completed, a letter of acceptance will be issued by the public works department within thirty (30) days of final approval.

    (f)

    A final field inspection of all installations shall be held by the city after each installation and prior to installation of the base and paving.
