§ 24-9. Procedures for large project locate request.

(a)

If pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 25-9-1 et seq. and Rules of the Georgia Public Service Commission § 515-9-4 the Utility Protection Center designates a request for locates of utility facilities as a Large Project, a written agreement is required to be entered into between the excavator and facility owner(s)/operator(s) or locator(s)/utility(s).

(b)

In the event the City of Cartersville is a necessary party to a large project agreement, the gas superintendent is authorized to negotiate and execute said agreements.
