§ 2-32. Mayor's duties.

  • (a)

    The mayor as presiding officer shall preserve order and decorum, and shall appoint all committees, unless the council shall otherwise direct.

    (b)

    The mayor as presiding officer shall decide all questions of order, but any member dissatisfied with any of his decisions, shall have the right to appeal to the council.

    (c)

    The presiding officer of the council shall be governed by parliamentary rules, so far as applicable.
