Article III. COMMERCIAL GARBAGE COLLECTION |
§ 21-53. Permit issuance requirements.
(a)
All container sites, vehicles, and haulers must comply with and meet the following requirements in the initial permit and for all locations which are used by permittee after the issuance of said permit.
(1)
All containers must at all times be securely covered, and have an operable cover.
(2)
All containers must be certified to be leak proof.
(3)
All containers must be plugged which store liquid waste and food products.
(4)
All container sites must be fenced with a visual screen around said container pursuant to the Code of Ordinances.
(5)
There must be sufficient room for the vehicle to access the container without blocking any city streets.
(6)
No containers shall be allowed on public rights-of-way and/or underground utility easements without permission of the City of Cartersville, State of Georgia, or the holder of the utility easement.
(7)
All applicants must provide all information as requested in section 21-51 of this chapter.
(8)
Comply with all federal, state, local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations.
